County Commission to Honor Williamsport High Bocce Team

The Washington County Board of Commissioners will honor Williamsport High School this Wednesday for winning Gold at the 2014 Special Olympics Maryland Unified Bocce Ball Division 4 State Championship.
WILLIAMSPORT, Md. – The Washington County Board of Commissioners will honor Williamsport High School this Wednesday for winning Gold at the 2014 Special Olympics Maryland Unified Bocce Ball Division 4 State Championship.

The team participated along with more than 200 student-athletes and 30 coaches at the State Championship at Hagerstown Community College.

The team is coached by Jerome Edwards. Team members include: Rebecca Sullivan, Grace Abritton, Travis Stockdale, Faith Kretzer, Justin Bowers, Austin Socks, Rachel Rowe, Zach Loveless, Katlyn Black, Nova Boward, Joshua Reeder, Taylor Line, Alex Snouffer, Brandon Taylor, Colin Osborne and Team Captain Travis Kendle.

The group will be honored by the commissioners during an event March 19th at Williamsport High School.
