Driver Ejected From Vehicle, Shuts Down I-70

A single vehicle crash on I-70 westbound near mile marker 166 has left one severely injured.
FULTON COUNTY, Pa. - A single vehicle crash took place on Interstate 70 westbound at mile marker 166 Friday around 11:36 p.m.

The driver, Sabrina Hann, 45, of Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania was traveling east on Interstate 70 when the vehicle drove off the roadway, into the median and rolled over. Hann was ejected from the vehicle and the came to rest in the westbound lane of Interstate 70.

According to the press release, Hann was not wearing a seatbelt. Dispatchers with Pennsylvania State Police McConnellsburg Barrack said Hann is currently listed in serious condition.

The passenger was a five-year old and did wear a seatbelt but was not ejected from the vehicle. Hann was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center by Hagerstown Life Flight Service.

The Needmore Volunteer Fire Company and Hancock, Maryland Rescue Squad assisted on the scene.

Interstate 70 was shut down for approximately one hour as the scene was cleared.
