Fire Destroys Home in Morgan County, W.Va.

The fire chief believes the fire started with a grill on the back patio.
GREAT CACAPON, W.Va. - A fire damaged a home in Morgan County, West Virginia Saturday evening.

The blaze broke out at a home along the 200 block of Bench Lane in Great Cacapon around 6:30 p.m.

The Great Cacapon Fire Chief says the home was engulfed in flames when crews arrived on the scene.

The chief says the fire also spread to one and a half acres of forest. It took crews almost three hours to put out both of the fires.

The chief believes the fire started with a grill on the back patio.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
