Four Charged with Murder in Heroin Death

The charges are all related to the death of Bobbie Blacka, who police say was found unresponsive on May 8 at an apartment at Keyser House on North Main Street.
KEYSER, W.Va. – Four people are facing murder charges in connection to a Mineral County overdose death.

Police say Daisy Stewart, 31, Melissa Mae Stewart, 22, and John Davis III, 36, all of Keyser along with Christian Pierce, 21, of Maysville are facing drug-related offenses as well as first degree murder.

The charges are all related to the death of Bobbie Blacka who police say was found unresponsive on May 8, 2014 at an apartment at Keyser House on North Main Street.

Charges were filed after a lengthy investigation that concluded Blacka died as the result of a heroin overdose. All four suspects are being held without bond at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.

Pierce, Davis and Melissa Stewart are charged with transporting heroin into West Virginia. Daisy Stewart was also charged as an accessory to that crime. Additionally, all four suspects are charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin.
