Frederick Police Arrest Driver After Foot Chase

Frederick Police arrested a man for driving without a license and a suspended registration after chasing him by foot.
FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with Frederick Police Department arrested a man after chasing him by foot on Saturday.

A traffic stop was conducted in the area of West Patrick Street and Linden Avenue for an observed violation.

The driver of one vehicle was slow to stop and drove into the Comfort Inn Hotel Parking lot. Once the vehicle stopped, the driver got out of the car and ran across several lanes of traffic to Motel 6.

The driver has been identifed as Alonso Brazzley, 40, of Frederick, Maryland.

Throughout the investigation, police found Brazzley driving without a license and with a suspended registration.

Brazzley has been charged with one count of driving without a license, one count of fleeing and eluding a uniformed officer, one count of resisting arrest, and one count of driving a vehicle on a suspended registration.
