Frederick Police Searching for Man in Fraud Investigation

The Frederick Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding the man who stole several items from a vehicle, including credit cards which he then made several purchases with.
FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division is asking for the public's help in finding a man responsible for fraud. 

On August 16, 2014, officers responded to a theft from a motor vehicle at the Frederick Keys baseball stadium parking lot. 

During the investigation, it was found the unknown suspect stole several items from inside the car, including credit cards. The suspect later used the credit cards at Target located on 5437 Urbana Pike, and Macy's on 5500 Buckeystown Pike. 

Police were able to gather a description of the suspect from video surveillance from the stores. 

The man is described as a white male, heavy set with short hair. He was wearing a white baseball hat with no apparent logo, a red polo-type shirt with a white t-shirt underneath with black shorts and a pair of black Nike shoes with a white Nike check on it. 

The Frederick Police Department is asking anyone who can identify the suspect to contact Officer Eric Morton at (301) 600-2149.
