FREDERICK, Md. - You'd normally see kids playing outside and neighbors in the yard on the 1000 block of Keswick place in Frederick, but Friday afternoon was drastically different.
"Gun shots were fired here sometime around noon or one o'clock," said Juan Ramos, the owner of a vehicle shot by stray gunfire.
Frederick City Police arrived on the scene at around 1 p.m. and inspected Juan Ramos' gun-stricken Mustang.
"Something that can happen like this in midday scares me. My kid are out here, especially on the weekend. The other kids are running around up and down the court so that has a lot of concern for me," added Ramos.
No injuries were reported, but neighbors remember hearing an argument before the shots were fired and then recall several men fleeing the scene.
"Its terrible knowing that you have kids to grow around a neighborhood and you start hearing about gun shots. Its unsafe," said Adma Fawty, a neighbor.
A description of the men reported to be involved in the incident has not been made available.
Police ask that anyone with information reach out to the lead investigator at 301-600-6219.
