Home Ransacked in Allegany County, Troopers Investigate

Police say when the homeowner arrived they noticed more than $5,000 in jewelry was taken, $1,000 in cash, medication and other electronics.
ALLEGANY COUNTY, Md. - Troopers with the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barracks are investigating a house burglary, where the suspect(s) left with thousands of dollars in items. 

Police responded to the report of a burglary Tuesday, April 15 along 23029 Meece Street in Barton. 

The investigation revealed the unknown suspect(s) entered the house and ransacked the place, taking multiple items. 

Police say when the homeowner arrived they noticed more than $5,000 in jewelry was taken, $1,000 in cash, medication and other electronics.
