Lonaconing Man Charged with Sexual Solicitation of a Minor

The charges stem from an investigation into allegations reported to the Maryland State Police that Pavlicek asked the two girls via the internet to send him nude photos and to engage in sexual acts with him.
ALLEGANY COUNTY, Md. - Members with the Allegany County Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a Lonaconing man after he allegedly inappropriately touched two young girls, ages 12 and 13, as well as tried to get the two to send nude photos of themselves.

Members with C3I arrested Christopher Russell Pavlicek, 28, on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at his house. He's charged with sexual solicitation of a minor and two counts of second-degree assault.

The charges stem from an investigation into allegations reported to the Maryland State Police that Pavlicek asked the two girls via the internet to send him nude photos and to engage in sexual acts with him. The reports also allege Pavlicek engaged in inappropriate contact with the girls at his house.

C3I investigators obtained a search warrant of Pavlicek's home where they recovered further evidence related to the investigation. Investigators were assisted by a Crime Scene Technician with the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division.

Pavlicek is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $20,000 bond pending his next court appearance.

The investigation is ongoing.
