Man Arrested for Assault in Frederick

Officers were called to the 200 Block of Phebus Ave. around 6:30 p.m. for a report of an assault, or stabbing. When they arrived, they saw two men involved in an altercation.
FREDERICK, Md. – The Frederick Police Department arrested Adam Kiser, 33, of Frederick Monday night.

Officers were called to the 200 Block of Phebus Avenue around 6:30 p.m. for a report of an assault, or stabbing. When they arrived, they saw two men involved in an altercation.

Officers say they later learned Kiser tried to stab the other man, and ended up causing a minor injury.

The victim was treated on scene and released.

Kiser was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault, along with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.

He was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he’s awaiting an appearance before a district court commissioner.
