Man Strikes Estranged Wife with Pool Cue, Faces Multiple Charges

Officers with the Waynesboro Police Department say around 12:43 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014 they responded to the Waynesboro Hospital for the report of an assault.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - A Chambersburg man is behind bars after police say he struck his estranged wife in the head with a pool cue. 

Officers with the Waynesboro Police Department say around 12:43 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014 they responded to the Waynesboro Hospital for the report of an assault. 

The investigation determined that the injuries were inflicted during the course of a domestic dispute along East Main Street. 

Police say the victim had been pushed down and struck in the head with a pool cue by her estranged husband, identified as Shawn Michael Kees, of Chambersburg. 

Kees is charged with assault, intimidation of witnesses and Terroristic threats. He's currently being held at the Franklin County Jail, pending arraignment.
