Missing 11-Year-Old Martinsburg Boy found Safe

Garrett Craighead, 11, has been reported missing by his mother. He was last seen wearing a red Under Armour hoodie with black athletic pants near the 700 block of Poter Ave. in Martinsburg. Police believe he may also have a blue “skater style” baseball hat.
UPDATE:  Martinsburg Police say the missing 11-year-old was located Friday night. They say the boy is home and safe. 


MARTINSBURG, W.Va.
– The Martinsburg Police Department are asking for help locating a missing boy.

Garrett Craighead, 11, has been reporting missing by his mother. He was last seen wearing a red Under Armour hoodie with black athletic pants near the 700 block of Porter Ave. in Martinsburg. Police believe he may also have a blue “skater style” baseball hat.

According to police, Garrett was last seen by his mother on Friday, April 11. Police say his mother reported he was supposed to be staying with friends over the weekend and had been seen earlier this week by other residents.

His mother also reported to police that her son may have been with a white male, in his teens to early twenties, wearing a black shirt with long brown hair.
