FREDERICK, Md. - Park goers were treated to a surprise event that raises money for a good cause.

A flash mob broke out in dance to the tune of Pharrell's song "Happy" on Sunday afternoon at Baker Park.

The event was hosted by "Mobbing for Hope," part of Relay for Life.

Mobbing for Hope began on Facebook by long-time cancer survivor Sherri Luttrell, and along with encore fitness and the American Cancer Society, they came together to help raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

"People would go to the Facebook page and we would just tell them when the rehearsal dates were. If they donated $10 then they got the rest of the information. The location, the song, the video to learn how to do the dance. We had about six practices that people came to and held a big practice here Friday night, and it worked out," said Luttrell.
