WARREN COUNTY, Va. - An Ohio man was arrested by deputies this week in Warren County, Virginia after he allegedly stole cash from a local business.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office said on August 13, 2014 around 2:41 p.m. they responded to the Walmart located at 10 Riverton Commons Drive for a report of grand larceny.

During the investigation it was determined, through the store's video surveillance system, that an employee of a cleaning contractor, who was hired to complete work during Walmart's remodel, took a money bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

The contractor's employee was identified as Nathan Zane Mitchell, 31, of Mason, Ohio.

Mitchell was located at the Hampton Inn after he failed to show up for work, deputies say. He was arrested at the hotel and subsequently charges with grand larceny.

Deputies say Mitchell is being held without bond at the RSW Regional Jail pending a court date on Sept. 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the Warren County General District Court.
