One Rescued From Frederick County House Fire

Crews say the person was trapped inside the residence when they arrived on scene.
FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - We are just learning new information from a story that first broke Thursday morning -- we now know one person who was trapped in an early morning house fire is safe according to fire officials in Frederick County, Maryland.

The blaze was first reported just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning on the 5400 block of Foxwood Crossing.

Crews from both Frederick and Carroll Counties were dispatched to the single family home.

Firefighters quickly began searching for a person inside the home. The victim had fallen down basement stairs, but crews were able to quickly located the individual.

The fire was put out within 10 minutes.
