Police Investigate Robbery Reported at Hagerstown Sheetz

Officers said a man wearing a blue and white stripped shirt, denim jeans and glasses assaulted one of the store's clerks and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Hagerstown Police Department is investigating a reported robbery that happened at a local Sheetz. 

The incident occurred Monday, August 4 around 12:30 a.m. at the Sheetz Convenience Store located on 301 E. Washington Street. 

Officers said a man wearing a blue and white stripped shirt, denim jeans and glasses assaulted one of the store's clerks and took an undisclosed amount of money from the register. 

The man exited the store and was last seen running south on Cannon Avenue. Police said the clerk sustained minor injuries from the assault. 

Police are asking if anyone has information concerning this robbery they're asked to call the Criminal Investigations Unit at 301-790-3700. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
