Police Investigate Shooting in Frederick County

FREDERICK, MD - One person was flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma after suffering a severe bullet wound.

Police are still investigating the shooting, which happened on the back end of Country Hill Apartments.

Police say they received calls around 5:30 p.m. Thursday about neighbors hearing gun shots in the area. When they arrived on scene, they found a man on the ground with a bullet wound to his torso.

Witnesses tell police they saw the suspect fleeing the scene on footThe suspect is described as a black male, light complexion with a thin build and he was wearing a mask, dark hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.
