Police Make Arrest in Buy-Bust Drug Operation

Police say on the evening of Thursday, March 13, an undercover officer contacted a suspected heroin dealer and arranged for the purchase of a quantity of heroin.
FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with the Frederick Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested a man for possession of marijuana, among other charges.

Police say on the evening of Thursday, March 13, an undercover officer contacted a suspected heroin dealer and arranged for the purchase of a quantity of heroin. The transaction took place in the 1300 block of Motter Avenue, at which time the officer immediately realized he had been sold a quantity of marijuana instead. 

The dealer apologized for the error, and was shortly thereafter taken into custody by other members of the Drug Enforcement Unit.

The dealer, Donald William Holt, 18, of Frederick, Md., is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
