Police Search for Burglary, Theft Suspect

Police say the man gained entry through a secured fence off the parking lot and then stole numerous items from the storage shed and also from parked cars.
FREDERICK, Md. - Police are looking for the man who they say burglarized and stole items from a storage shed Sunday morning.

Frederick City Police say it happened just after 11 a.m. along the 100 block of Commerce Street.

Police say the man gained entry through a secured fence off the parking lot and then stole numerous items from the storage shed and also from parked cars.

Police say someone confronted the man and the suspect then stole one of the parked vehicles, rammed the entry gate, causing it to open. Officers say they found the stolen car a short distance away, but the suspect took off.
