PSP Investigate Home Burglary

The incident happened Saturday, June 7, 2014 between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. at 439 Piper Ave. in Greene Township.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary where hundreds of dollars and checks were taken from a local business.

The incident happened Saturday, June 7, 2014 between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. at 439 Piper Ave. in Greene Township. 

Troopers say the unknown suspect entered the victim's house, which is also her business, and removed about $830 in cash and about 15 checks from the cash drawer. Witnesses told police they saw a newer model black car, possibly a Volvo, with tinted rear windows and possible Maryland tags.

The vehicle was seen parked twice near the victim's residence during the time of the Burglary. The occupants were described by witnesses as being two white women, one with dark hair and one with dirty blonde hair, with average height and medium build.
