Silas Redd transfers from Penn State to USC

Penn State Running Back Silas Redd will transfer to Southern California.  Redd is the 2nd Player to transfer from Penn State.  Redd was the starting running back for Penn State and ran for over 1,200 yards last season.  Redd will have to years of eligibility left.  According to reports, former Linganore Running Back Zach Zwinak is in the mix to replace Redd along with converted wide-out Bill Belton.

Penn State opens training camp on Aug. 6, the deadline for any other current players to request a transfer to play right away. The season opener is Sept. 1 vs. Ohio at home.
