The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the entire 4State area for Tuesday, January 21, 2014...

As an Arctic front and low pressure passes through our region tonight/tomorrow, we will begin to see snowfall in the early hours of Tuesday morning.  Our heaviest snow will be between the hours of 10 A.M. and 5 P.M.  Along with snow, winds gusting up to 25 MPH at times will cause blowing and drifting snow, making travel hazardous and very dangerous.  This system will exit our region in the evening, with snow tapering off by 10 P.M.

Accumulations expected -- 4-8" inches of snow throughout the viewing region, 8-12" inches of snow in higher elevations including Western Maryland and the Potomac Highlands.

Wind chills are also expected to plummet into the single and negative digits tomorrow afternoon.
