Stephanie's Monday Evening Forecast 8/18/14

The 4State had a cloudy start to the work week and it looks as if that trend will continue...

A stationary boundary in the upper atmosphere will stay overhead tonight into the remainder of most of the work week, bringing us a very unsettled week.  A few showers developing from the Southwest will swing into the 4State region tonight, but many spots will stay dry.  We have another chance of afternoon thunderstorms and showers on Tuesday with increasing humidity throughout the day.  Later this week we will have a drop in high temperatures with a few days staying in the mid to upper 70’s. 

 

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with the chance of a few scattered showers.  Low:  65.  Winds:  SW 5 MPH

 

Tuesday:  Becoming humid with spotty sunshine, a chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.  High:  83,  Low:  65.   Winds:  NE  5 MPH

 

Wednesday:  A chance of thunderstorms, still a bit humid.  High:  83,  Low:  66.

 

Thursday:  Storms likely with limited sunshine.  High:  81,  Low:  64. 

 

Friday:  A chance of storms with a mix of clouds and sunshine.  High:  78,  Low:  61. 

 

Saturday:  A few scattered showers with a partly sunny sky, cooler.  High:  77,  Low:  62. 

 

Sunday:  Partly sunny and pleasant.  High:  78,  Low:  61. 

 

Sunday:  Sunny, still nice.  High:  78,  Low:  61.

 

Monday:  A mix of sunshine and clouds.  High:  80,  Low:  62.
