We’re tracking severe weather tonight that is already bringing damaging winds and hail across Ohio tonight.  This MCS (mesoscale convective system) will bring scattered and strong thunderstorms into the 4state beginning in the early hours of Sunday morning, continuing through the day.  Expect HEAVY RAINFALL (flash flooding possible), LARGE HAIL, and DAMAGING WINDS with this system.  The storm system also has the possibility of producing an isolated tornado.  This is all being caused from the combination of a few things happening in the atmosphere – a cold front pushing towards the Mid-Atlantic States, an upper-level trough and mid-level jet.  The atmosphere will be very active over the 4State beginning LATE tonight (after midnight most likely) and throughout most of Sunday.  We have the chance of lingering activity on Sunday night as well.  Monday we’ll see a chance of a thunderstorm, but the remainder of the week will be clear and cooler.

Tonight:  Slight chance of a thunderstorm, becoming muggy overnight.  Low:  67.

Sunday:  Severe thunderstorms throughout the morning and afternoon.  Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy downpours could occur with this line of strong storms.  An isolated tornado is not out of the question.  Winds: SW 5-10 MPH.   High:  86,  Low:  66.

Monday:  A slight chance of a thunderstorm, partly sunny.  High:  80,  LOW: 55.
