The last weekend of Winter will bring just that, winter weather. We're currently tracking a large low pressure system pushing it's way across the Mississippi Valley. By the afternoon, this system will reach the 4State and dump at least a few inches across the region...
Winter Weather Advisory - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all counties in the viewing area South of the Mason-Dixon Line.  As we travel further South into Virginia, a Winter Storm Watch is in effect for this evening until Monday.  The heaviest precipitation will stay South of the viewing region, while the remainder of the region will see only 1"-3" of snowfall by Monday afternoon.  Please see attached snowfall maps and advisory graphics.  

TODAY:  Snow beginning between 4-6 P.M.  Precipitation may begin as rain in some spots, but as temperatures plummet into the 20's tonight, rain will completely change to snow by midnight.  HIGH:  40, LOW:  24.  Winds:  North 8-10 MPH.  

MONDAY:  Snow will continue throughout the morning rush-hour but begin to taper off by noon.  Chilly temperatures will stick around today.  HIGH:  32,  LOW:  23.

TUESDAY:  Partly sunny with high temperatures below seasonal average.  HIGH:  41,  LOW:  29.  

WEDNESDAY:  Rain showers possible.  HIGH:  51,  LOW:  39.  

THURSDAY:  The first day of Spring!  Partly sunny and feeling milder.  HIGH:  54,  LOW:  35.

FRIDAY:  Mostly sunny.  HIGH: 59,  LOW:  38.  

SATURDAY:  Rain showers possible and warm temperatures.  HIGH:  62,  LOW:  40.
