Storms are on the way for the 4State, with some spots seeing severe storms tonight and most of the region experiencing severe weather Monday.

The atmosphere will continue to increase in moisture today, bringing most of the region the chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and overnight.  Garrett, Allegany, Somerset, Bedford, Fulton, Grant, and Mineral Counties have the slight chance of SEVERE storms this afternoon and overnight – this may include heavy downpours, large hail, and strong, damaging wind gusts.  The remainder of the region could see leftover thunderstorms from this development later in the afternoon.  Mostly cloudy for Sunday with muggy conditions. 

 

Sunday:  A chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, possibly strong.  Mostly cloudy, hot and humid.  HIGH:  90,  LOW:  70. 

 

Monday:  Thunderstorms very likely; possibly severe with damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall.  HIGH:  89,  LOW:  65. 

 

Tuesday:  A chance of thunderstorms with heavy rain possible.   HIGH:  84,  LOW:  60. 

 

Wednesday:  Sunny and a bit cooler as the jet stream moves South.  HIGH:  78,  LOW:  58. 

 

Thursday:  Sunny and nice.  HIGH:  79,  LOW:  61. 

 

Friday:  A chance of thunderstorms.  HIGH:  80,  LOW:  64. 

 

Saturday:  A chance of storms.  HIGH:  81,  LOW:  62.
