We’re still tracking a coastal front that’s been stationed right along the Atlantic Coast this weekend. Today’s forecast will feature scattered showers, mainly in the morning, with the chance of a few isolated thunderstorms later this afternoon. The atmosphere has weaker instability, which will make thunderstorm activity few and far between this afternoon and night. In the early afternoon hours we should also see bursts of sunshine. We’ll be humid with highs barely reaching into the low 80’s. The stationary front will stay with us into Monday’s forecast bringing the region a chance of afternoon storms for the start of the work week.
