Teen Accused of Shooting at Officer on I-81 Due in Court

State police say when the teen was pulled over, he fired a round in the direction of the state trooper. Police say Sellers was driving in a stolen vehicle and had a .22 caliber pistol in his possession.
WHAG NEWS - A Mifflinburg teenager is facing a dozen charges after police say he shot at a Pennsylvania State Trooper on Interstate-81 over the weekend. 

Investigators say Sean Patrick Sellers, 16, was driving erratically along I-81 on Sunday. They say when the teen was pulled over, he fired a round in the direction of the state trooper. Police say Sellers was driving in a stolen vehicle and had a .22 caliber pistol in his possession. 

Sellers was taken into custody a short time later. He's facing several charges including criminal attempt homicide, criminal attempt homicide of a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault. Sellers will be charged as an adult. 

He's scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on February 4, 2014.
