FREDRICK COUNTY, Md. - A third person is facing charges in connection to a Fourth of July shooting that injured a 15-year-old girl.

Officers with the Frederick Police Department said during the course of the investigation, new information was revealed that led detectives to an address on Rhode Island Court.

During a search at the address, detectives discovered loaded handgun magazines and ammunition in the bedroom of the suspect, 19-year-old Micah Karem Jeffrey. In addition, police say marijuana was also found.

Jeffrey was taken into custody Tuesday night without incident. He's since been transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center, awaiting an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
