Three Transported to Hospital in Keedysville Crash

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said a female driver, with four young passengers inside, ran into a tree along the roadway. They said there are no signs of foul play or alcohol involved at this time.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. - Two teenagers and a five-year-old were transported to the hospital Monday afternoon following a serious single-vehicle crash in Keedysville. 

The call came in at 3:54 p.m. Monday along 4105 Chestnut Grove Road. 

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said a female driver, with four young passengers inside, ran into a tree along the roadway. They said there are no signs of foul play or alcohol involved at this time. 

The two male teenagers, a 12 and 14-year-old, were flown to Johns Hopkins for treatment. A 5-year-old girl was also transported to Meritus Medical Center via ambulance. Deputies said an 8-year-old boy and the 44-year-old female driver did not receive treatment on scene. 

Williamsport, Sharpsburg, Boonsboro and Potomac Valley responded, as well as Maryland State Police Trooper 3 helicopter. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
