Trial Date Set For Frostburg State Student Accused of Murder

ALLEGANY COUNTY, MD - A 23-year-old Frostburg State University student who was accused of stabbing another student to death, has a trial date set for April.

On Tuesday, Shanee Liggins from Waldorf, MD, appeared in court for the first time since the stabbing.

In November, 19-year-old Kortneigh McCoy was stabbed to death while at an off campus party.
Liggins told police someone else stabbed McCoy.

Her bond was set at $350,000.
