Two Arrested on Drug Charges

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Troopers with West Virginia State Police Martinsburg Barracks arrested two people this week on various drug charges. 

The incident happened on Sunday, April 13 around 2:55 a.m. along Hammond's Mill Road. 

Troopers conducted a traffic stop along the roadway, which led to the two arrests. Tyler J. Nolan, 20, from Falling Waters, W.Va., was arrested for possession of hashish oil and Joshua T. Smith, 22, of Hagerstown, Md., was arrested for possession of marijuana. 

Following the arrests, police conducted a search of Nolan's home along Raging River Road. During the search troopers discovered marijuana, 82 perforated stamps of LSD, and remnants of the manufacture of hashish oil. 

Nolan was additionally charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute LSD, cultivation of marijuana, and the manufacture of hashish oil.
