UPDATE: One Person Flown to Hospital After Route 7 Accident

One person had to be flown to a hospital after a tractor trailer and truck crashed Saturday afternoon in Clarke County, Virginia.
CLARKE COUNTY, Va. - One person had to be flown to a hospital after a tractor trailer and truck crashed Saturday afternoon in Clarke County, Virginia.

Dispatchers with Clarke County Fire and Rescue say the accident happened around 1:45 p.m. along the 10700 block of Harry Byrd Highway westbound, or Route 7, close to the intersection of Beeline Lane, in Berryville.

A tractor trailer and flat-bed truck collided. One person inside the truck was flown to Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to dispatchers.

Dispatchers tell WHAG the westbound lanes of Route 7 were shut down for about two hours.
