UPDATE: Two Men Arrested After Beating of 87-Year-Old Man

<span style="font-size: small;" mce_style="font-size: small;">Carroll Snyder said he was sleeping in his Martinsburg store when he woke up to three men beating him.</span><br><br><br>
BERKELEY COUNTY, WV - Police have made an arrest in connection to the brutal beating of an 87-year-old man.

Evan Shirley faces multiple charges, including aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit malicious wounding after the incident Monday night. A second suspect, Tyler Munson (pictured below) was arrested Thursday morning.

Carroll Snyder said he was sleeping in his Martinsburg store when he woke up to three men beating him.

Several thousand dollars in rare coins, books and computers were stolen from the business on Winchester Avenue. Snyder told police he recognized one of the suspects because he helped the man fix a computer.

Shirley was arrested Wednesday, he is being held on a $200-thousand dollars bond. Munson is being arraigned Thursday.


Police have not said if anyone else was arrested.
