Va. Man Arrested for Burglary in Frederick

A Charlottesville, Va., man was arrested for burglary after police said they caught him on someone else's property. The incident happened on Tuesday, August 19 around 9 p.m. along the 1500 block of St. Lawrence Court.
FREDERICK, Md. - A Charlottesville, Va., man was arrested for burglary after police said they caught him on someone else's property. 

The incident happened on Tuesday, August 19 around 9 p.m. along the 1500 block of St. Lawrence Court. 

Frederick police said a caller advised that someone had broken into a home and was currently inside. Upon arrival, officers found Leonard Kent Taylor hiding behind a shed in the backyard. 

Taylor was detained and officers said through the investigation is was discovered that Taylor had entered the house through an unlocked front door. Taylor told police he entered the home of a friend, who he knew was out of town. 

Police said Taylor had not been given permission to enter the residence. He's currently charged with breaking and entering.
