Winchester Stabbing Sends Two Men to Hospital

The Winchester Police Department responded to a stabbing on the 100 block of North Loudoun Street before 1 a.m.
WINCHESTER, Va. - Officers with the Winchester Police Department are investigating a stabbing that sent two men to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

It happened early Saturday morning before 1 a.m. when officers responded to a domestic situation at a restaurant on the 100 block of North Loudoun Street. As officers were handling the matter, they say a stabbing took place in a separate incident at the restaurant.

The male victim, 24, of Winchester was stabbed in the chest several times in the chest. Police say he was taken to Winchester Medical Center and is listed in critical condition. The male suspect, 23, of Washington, D.C., was also sent to the hospital with minor injuries. Police say they have charged Brandyn Smalls with malicious wounding. Smalls is being held at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention center without bond.
