Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for portions of the area on Saturday for yet again, more accumulating snow and ice. Meteorologist Bryan Schuerman has the details in his forecast for Friday Evening December 13th, 2013.

Weather Alert: The National Weather Service has issued the following winter weather alerts for the area in advance of our next winter storm approaching the area...

Winter Storm Warnings for the following counties:
In Pennsylvania: Adams, Bedford, Franklin, Fulton & Somerset
In Maryland: Allegany, Frederick, Garrett & Washington
In West Virginia: Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire & Mineral

Winter Weather Advisories for the following counties:
In West Virginia: Jefferson, Hardy & Grant
In Virginia: Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Page, Shenandoah & Warren

Snow will overspread the area as we get into Saturday Morning, and could be heavy at times as we get into Late Saturday Morning, and Saturday Afternoon before changing over to a period of freezing rain.  Snow total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches, with higher amounts possible, especially in Pennsyvlania, and ice accumulations of up to a quarter of an inch possible in most locations.

Increasing clouds, skies becoming mostly cloudy overnight.  Snow developing towards dawn.  Low: 25-30.  Winds: Light & Variable.

Tomorrow (Saturday): Cloudy skies with snow likely. Some snow could be heavy at times. Snow will change over to freezing rain in the late afternoon and evening hours.  Storm total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with higher amounts possible, especially in Pennsylvania, and ice accumulations of up to a quarter of an inch possible. Lesser amounts of snow the further south and east you go. High: 30.  Winds: East 5-10 MPH.

Tomorrow Night: Cloudy skies with snow continuing, changing to periods of freezing rain (primarily along and south of the Mason/Dixon Line). Snow and ice accumulations likely. Low: 30.  Winds: Northwest 5-15 MPH.
