Woman Arrested After Attempting to Steal Syringes from Doctor's Office

Pennsylvania State Police say a Hancock woman is facing theft and harassment charges after she tried to steal syringes from a local doctor's office.
MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police say a Hancock woman is facing theft and harassment charges after she tried to steal syringes from a local doctor's office. 

The incident happened around 12:54 p.m. on May 1, 2014 at Dr. William Milroth's office along 318 N. 1st Street in McConnellsburg. 

Troopers say the accused woman, Gladys Darlene McClary, 57, of Hancock, Md., attempted to steal about 50 syringes from the office. They say McClary attempted to flee the scene and in the process caused minor injuries to a 44-year-old woman from Three Springs, Pennsylvania. 

McClary is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and harassment.
