Woman Flown to Shock Trauma After US 340 Crash

FREDERICK COUNTY, MD - A 21-year-old was flown to Shock Trauma, after an accident on eastbound US 340 Sunday night.

The crash happened near the St. Marks Road. exit at 9:47 p.m. The accident closed the highway for about three hours.

State police say a 27-year-old driver, Cruz Vasquez of Washington, D.C. ran into a Jaguar.

The impact caused the Subaru Legacy to run off the road, hitting several trees.

60-year-old Som Plyraharn was taken to Frederick Memorial hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Christina Mills of Washington, D.C. was flown to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with severe injuries.

 The driver of the Subaru was not injured.
