* A Heat Advisory has been issued for Franklin, Fulton, and Adams counties in PA, Frederick County, MD, Loudoun County, VA until 8 p.m. Heat index values will be between 100-110 degrees for several hours this afternoon and early evening.


 
A heatwave continues to impact the 4 State Region. Daytime high temperatures will be in the mid 90s, however humid conditions will make it feel even hotter. Heat index values will be between 100-110 degrees for several hours this afternoon and early evening. Be sure to stay well hydrated and take the necessary steps to stay cool.

Today: The heatwave continues with a mostly sunny start to the day.  Heading into the afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. High: 93-98. Heat index values will be between 100-110 degrees for several hours this afternoon and early evening.

Tonight: Another warm and muggy night under partly cloudy skies. A passing shower or thunderstorm is possible early. Low: 71-76.

Tomorrow(Saturday): Still hot and humid with partly sunny skies. Showers and thunderstorms will move through later in the day as a cold front approaches the region. Some storms could be strong to severe. High: 88-93.
