* Hot and humid weather continues to impact the 4 State Region. Daytime high temperatures will be in the mid 90s through Friday, however humid conditions will make it feel even hotter. Heat index values will range from 95-100 degrees the afternoon and early evening. Be sure to stay well hydrated and take the necessary steps to stay cool.



Your4State Short Term Forecast:

Today: Remaining hot and humid with mostly sunny skies for much of the day. An isolated pop up thunderstorm is possible, especially across our western mountain counties. It will be hot and humid once again with heat index values around 95-100 degrees this afternoon and early evening. High: 92-97.

Tonight: A few clouds, warm and sticky. Low: 70-75.

Tomorrow(Thursday): Another hot and humid day with partly cloudy skies. An isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm may pass through. Heat index values will be around 95-100 degrees during the afternoon and early evening. High: 92-97.

Friday: Still no relief from the hot and humid weather under partly cloudy skies. An afternoon isolated thunderstorm is possible.  High: 95. Low: 73.

Saturday: One more hot day with a mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be developing by the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be on the strong side.  High: 90. Low: 70.

Sunday: Not as hot and feeling less humid with a mix of sun and clouds. High: 86. Low: 67.

Monday: Feeling much more comfortable with mostly sunny skies. High: 84. Low: 65.

Tuesday:
Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. High: 84. Low: 65.
