Deputies Release Name of Man Found Dead Beside Road in Hagerstown

Deputies Tuesday have released the name of the man who was found dead beside a roadway Sunday afternoon in Hagerstown.


HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Deputies Tuesday have released the name of the man who was found dead beside a roadway in Hagerstown over the weekend. 

Officials with the Washington County Sheriff's Office say a passerby spotted the body of Kenneth Leon Flook, 40, of Hagerstown, Md., along side of the road around 5 p.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Broadfording Road

They say Flook was lying next to the bridge that crosses the Concocheague Creek between Hagerstown and Clear Spring. 

Flook was last seen alive in the evening hours of Friday August 16. His body has been taken to the Office of the Coroner in Baltimore for an autopsy. 

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have seen or had contact with Flook after Friday evening to please contact Det. Dave Sanders at (240)-313-2186.  

The cause of death is unknown at this time.
