ALLEGANY COUNTY, Md. - Deputies with the Allegany County Sheriff's Office and the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit are looking for two men in connection to an armed robbery reported at a local Inn Saturday night.

The incident happened around 11:20 p.m. at the Cozy Inn on Route 220, south of Bel Air.

Deputies say when they arrived on the scene, they spoke with the bartender and learned that the victim was outside smoking a cigarette when they saw two men walking through the parking lot of the business across the street. The bartender went back inside at that time.

The two men entered the Inn shortly afterwards and one of the men displayed a small handgun and demanded all the money in the register. As the second man walked behind the bar to get the money, the bartender pulled out a can of pepper spray and sprayed one of the men in the face with it, according to deputies.

Both men fled the scene without any cash. They were last seen running back through the same parking lot.

Investigators say the first suspect is described as a white male, with long down hair and a tattoo on his hand. He was seen wearing overalls, white tennis shoes and a dark colored hoodie-type sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. The second suspect is described as a white male, possibly bald, who was wearing dark jeans and dark colored shoes. He was also wearing a hoodie-type sweatshirt with the hood pulled up.
