Driver Flown to Hospital in Tractor Trailer Rollover

It happened Monday afternoon on Interstate-70 westbound at the I-270 exit.

FREDERICK, Md. - Troopers with the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack say the driver of a tractor trailer was flown to an area hospital Monday afternoon after the vehicle turned over onto the interstate. 

It happened on Interstate-70 westbound at the I-270 exit. Officials say a medical helicopter was called to the scene shortly after the tractor trailer flipped. 

No word on the extent of the driver's injuries at this time. 

State police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
