Driver Identified in Fiery Car Crash into House

Police say around 3:45 Monday morning, Nathanael Zimmerman, 37, of Fayetteville, Pa., was driving north on Black Gap Road when he attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police have identified the driver who they say fled the scene of a fiery car crash into a Franklin County home. 

Police say around 3:45 Monday morning, Nathanael G. Zimmerman, 37, of Fayetteville, Pa., was driving north on Black Gap Road when he attempted to pass another vehicle and lost control. 

They say Zimmerman's 2006 jeep went off of the roadway, struck an embankment, and went airborne before crashing into the house. Three people inside the home were able to make it out safely. 

Zimmerman fled the scene on foot, but was later found at his father's residence in Fayetteville. Zimmerman's currently being held at the Franklin County Jail. He's facing several charges, including risking a catastrophe.
