Election Day 2013 Preparations

The polls opened at 6am in Winchester, VA and close at 7pm. Across the rest of the four state area in Maryland and Pennsylvania polls open at 7am and close at 8pm.

NATIONWIDE - We'll it is officially Election Day nationwide and the four state region is no exception.

The polls opened at 6am in Winchester, VA and close at 7pm. Across the rest of the four state area in Maryland and Pennsylvania polls open at 7am and close at 8pm.

Some of the local races WHAG will be watching are for the Winchester Sheriff, Chambersburg Borough Mayor and Shippensburg Mayor. Also in Frederick County, MD, we're watching the races for county Mayor and Alderman.

There are also several state wide elections across Virginia including the races for VA Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General and seats for the House of Delegates in the following districts: 10th, 18th, 29th and 33rd.

Our election coverage starts right as polls close and we'll keep you updated with results throughout the night and Wednesday morning.

Here are times for when the polls open and close:

Winchester, VA: 6am - 7pm
Frederick, MD: 7am - 8pm

Chambersburg Borough, PA: 7am - 8pm
Shippensburg, PA: 7am - 8pm
