Fashion Camp Promotes Modern Etiquette to Young Girls

Francis Scott Key Mall is throwing a Fashion Camp this week to teach young women about etiquette and fashion.
FREDERICK, MD- Francis Scott Key Mall is throwing a Fashion Camp this week to teach young women about etiquette and fashion.

Girls from nine to 18-years-old are taking part in a camp, running throughout this week, to learn about modern etiquette, grooming and fashion. Organizers say and since this camp is free, girls are asked to pay it forward through donations of old clothing to the Goodwill of Monocacy Valley.

This Saturday a fashion show with all camp participants will be held, showcasing back to school fashion trends.

"We start at age nine, and we go to 18. We have nine to six-year-olds in this program and our six year olds are taking care of our younger girls and out younger girls are looking up to the older girls. It is amazing to watch," said Tracey Gargon, fashion camp manager.

This fashion camp will host its annual Back to School Fashion Show at Francis Scott Key Mall Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Value City Furniture Court.
