Frederick Man Sentenced for Sex Assault

A Frederick man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail after officials say he sexually assaulted a young girl.

FREDERICK, Md. - A Frederick man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail after officials say he sexually assaulted a young girl.

Antonio Maurice Little pleaded guilty to the third-degree sex offense back in October.

As we’ve reported in March 2013, 39-year-old Little had met with the 13-year-old girl earlier in the evening while walking in the area of Bentz Street and 7th Street. According to Little’s attorney, the girl lied about her age.

Police say Little and the young girl had returned to Little's house and the two engaged in sexual conduct.

After his release, Little will have to serve four years of supervised probation and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Little has an extensive criminal record, and faces additional charges in Frederick County District Court in an unrelated case. He was arrested in November 2013 after deputies say he exposed himself to several women inside at local Wal-Mart, and leaving a trail of eight small baggies of cocaine before leading officers on a small foot chase.

A hearing in that case is scheduled for February 6, 2014.
