Frostburg Pharmacy Robbed at Gunpoint

Police in Frostburg say a man stole an undisclosed amount on prescription drugs from a pharmacy Thursday evening, after he showed a gun to employees and ordered them to the ground.
FROSTBURG, MD -  Investigators with Frostburg City Police said a man got away with an undisclosed amount of prescription pills after he held up a local pharmacy at gunpoint.

According to police, the robbery happened around 5:14 Thursday night at the Frostburg Pharmacare Pharmacy.  When officers arrived on scene, they were told that a white male wearing dark pants, a black hoodie, gloves and a mask covering his face entered the pharmacy and displayed a black handgun. 

Police said the man told employees to get on the ground, and then went behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of prescription pills.  The man then fled the pharmacy and ran towards the Frostburg Plaza Shopping Center.  Police say the man may have gotten into a newer model, white passenger car.

The man is described as a white male, approximately 5'06 to 5'09 in height with a medium build.  The man is believed to be in his 20's.  Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the Frostburg City Police at 301-689-3000, the C3I Unite at 301-777-0326, or their nearest law enforcement agency.
