Gov. McDonnell Donor Controversy

McDonnell announced Tuesday that he and his family have repaid over $120,000 worth of loans made to McDonnell's business and his wife by a Virginia man who owns a dietary supplement company.
VIRGINIA- Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell says he's deeply sorry, but not resigning.

This announcement comes following revelations he and his family accepted loans and gifts from a political donor.

McDonnell announced Tuesday that he and his family have repaid over $120,000 worth of loans made to McDonnell's business and his wife by a Virginia man who owns a dietary supplement company.

In a satellite interview from Afghanistan, McDonnell said he's given no thought to resigning his office.

And McDonnell wouldn't comment on possible repayment for gifts the donor has given the family, including a shopping trip for McDonnell's wife, a Rolex watch, and help paying for his daughter's wedding reception.
